Phillies’ top prospect JP Crawford will join the Phillies in New York during their series against the Mets, according to numerous reports.
Crawford slammed a two-run, first-inning home run to fuel the Lehigh Valley IronPigs to a 5-4 win Monday, clinching the team a playoff berth and capping an unlikely last-minute run to the International League wild card.
On the season Crawford is hitting .243/.351/.405 with 15 home runs and 63 runs batted in.
