Philadelphia Brewing Company proudly brews ales and lagers through the adaption of Old World beer styles with modern brewing techniques. With over five beers brewed year round along with various seasonal flavors, they offer a beer for every palate!
First established over 125 years ago, the building is the oldest and largest brewing facility in Philadelphia. Built by Weisbrod & Hess Oriental Brewing company in 1885, the beautifully designed facility sets a standard in recycling, reuse and sustainable environmental practices. Since acquiring the building in 2001, Philadelphia Brewing Company has set out to renovate the 38,000 square foot brewery and revive the Kensington neighborhood it calls home.
PBC has a unique community focused business plan, choosing to stay local rather than distribute across the country. They believe that beer is best when its fresh, and they are proud to be able to promise that when you choose one of their beers in Philly it’s never more than a week old.
