Philadelphia Bee Company : Natural and Locally Sourced Honey

We all love the honey you find at every supermarket that comes in the shape of a bear, but have you ever tried really good, natural, locally sourced honey? If the answer is no, you are missing out on something very special.

There are all different kinds of honeys, and a variety of seasonal and regional raw, unfiltered honeys are made within Philadelphia by the Philadelphia Bee Company.

Philadelphia Bee CompanyAt The Philadelphia Bee Company, locally produced bee products such as honey, wax and pollen are gathered. With its vast numbers of trees and urban gardens, the city is a prime location to host honey bees.

The Philadelphia Bee Company also works to educate others about the important role that bees play in our lives.  They offer presentations, assemblies and science programs to the public in order to bring more attention to the subject. Did you know that approximately one third of the plants we consume in our daily diets are pollination dependent?
